"....on the sixth planet off an uncharted star near the orion nebula we dicovered strange glowing shapes on the night side.
A launched probe yielded very surprising data. The strange glow is generated by billions of insectlike beings of about 60cm length.
It is already very intriguing that all of those colonies look very similar, but the most striking fact is that their shape is very similar
to the shape of their heads. See Picture above, taken during descent of first scout ship from 28km height.
Maybe an intelligent lifeform...
...we have been here for two weeks now, trying to find a way of communication, but so far without success. We are sure that they are
aware of our presence, but that is all we can tell for sure. We found out that they feed on the Rocks using some strong acid.
In the area near the colonies we detected varios kinds of predatory creatures, which seem to prey on the glowing ones. Two of the species
can be dangerous to humans, as we found out. We lost two scientist two days ago, who where attacked by the predators..."
